leivos: Sara Ligari, is a Milan based, young designer and fashion illustrator. Her works are bold, vivid, charismatic and they will definitely tickle your attention with their captivating energy and style. Introduce yourself I’m an Italian illustrator, I currently live In Milan and I’m studying  fashion design at Politecnico University.  Can you describe your creative process? Is expected that a fashion illustration start from a cloths but for me it isn’t like this. Usually the ideas come from a photography that live me stunning. It can be a pose, a shade of color, a particular look. Often I draw more parts separated, the figure in a paper, some splash of watercolors in another and edit all with Photoshop. When the illustration is finish it is completely different from how I imagined it at the beginning. What sort of fun do you like to have in your spare time? Since I’m studying, I use my spare time to drawing! Besides this I love cooking and eating ethnic food. What is fashion for you? A way to express something, not necessarily who you are.  You can also express what you are not. Fashion is a game, people shouldn’t take it seriously. But there’s too much money that gravitate around fashion and nobody takes it more as a fun. Do you love to travel? Favourite place to live and create? I love to travel a lot. I think the best way to create is living a non-stop traveling, because every place you see gives you new inspirations.  Unfortunately this is not always possible. Milano, where I live now, is a great city for fashion design, but recently I discovered Lyon, France, and I fell in love. So now this is my favorite place to live and create. What is your Life motto?
